Congratulations to all the players that have qualified for the Tournament of Champions by winning an event or finishing in the top 5 in Points! Here is some important information regarding the Tournament of Champions on Saturday:
The 18-Holers Tee Times will start at 8:45 and run until approximately until 9:37. They will play the Red/Blue course. The 9–holers will play the Red course starting at 9:45 with Tee Times running until roughly 11:30.
Practice rounds will be available due to availability prior to Saturday. Please call the Sugar Mill Pro Shop at 426-5210 and identify yourself as a VFJGA member. Sugar Mill has 3 nines so be sure to ask to play the Red or Red/Blue Course. All players must take a golf cart. There is no charge for the juniors, however, if an adult plays along the fee is $45 for 18 holes. A non-playing adult that drives the cart for the junior golfer, the fee is $18.
Please remember that Sugar Mill is a private golf club and proper dress and etiquette is required.
Finally, the end of the year banquet is on Saturday, August 14th at 6:30 pm at Sugar Mill Country Club in New Smyrna Beach. If you plan to attend the end of the year banquet please contact us by Tuesday, August 10th. We need to get a headcount so please contact us! Remember, juniors and those who volunteered this year are complimentary. Guests are $22. We will have raffle prizes and gifts for all the players! You must be present to win!!
